1. What Does This Privacy Policy Mean?

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the 'Privacy Policy') provides information on how OPPA Agency, UAB (hereinafter referred to as 'OPPA') processes your personal data obtained for the purpose of fulfilling contracts between OPPA and its contractors, as well as in response to inquiries from you. All individuals whose data is processed by OPPA are hereinafter referred to as 'Data Subjects'.

OPPA is a real estate agency with the legal entity code 304397940, registered at Buivydiškių g. 11-60, LT-07177 Vilnius, Lithuania, and operating from P. OPPA collaborates with numerous brokers, listed on our website www.oppa.lt, who provide real estate consultations and brokerage services for individuals and legal entities in buying, selling, renting, or leasing real estate.

3. What is Personal Data?

Personal data refers to any information collected by OPPA about a Data Subject that can be used to identify them and is stored electronically or otherwise.

Personal data includes, but is not limited to, the Data Subject's name, surname, contact details, and any other information collected for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy, a separate Data Subject's consent, or an agreement with OPPA.

4. Legality and Purposes of Data Processing

 

4.1. Fulfillment of OPPA’s Contracts with Individual Contractors

Under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, to ensure the fulfillment of contracts between OPPA and individual contractors, OPPA processes the following personal data of these individuals: name, surname, email address, personal identification number, phone number, correspondence content.

This data is processed for the duration of the contract with OPPA and for 10 years after its termination, as required by Lithuanian law.

4.2. Responding to Inquiries

You can contact OPPA by email at [email protected] or by submitting an inquiry at www.oppa.lt. If you contact us, we may process the data you provide, such as your name, surname, email address, date of inquiry, and the content of your request.

The specified personal data will be processed in order to respond to your inquiries, review your suggestions, requests, or complaints. Your personal data will be processed based on your consent, which is expressed through your active actions when reaching out to us.

Correspondence is stored for 1 year from the date of receiving the message, except for information that is subject to different retention periods as specified in the Privacy Policy or legal regulations.

All personal data you provide when communicating with us is used solely for the purposes mentioned above.

4.3. OPPA brokers' advertising on www.oppa.lt and social networks

To promote its activities and increase the visibility of real estate agents with whom OPPA has a cooperation agreement, OPPA publishes the personal data of real estate agents on its website www.oppa.lt and may also share personal data on OPPA's social networks. Additionally, personal data may be published in photos taken by OPPA at events, trips, conferences, and other occasions.

All personal data is processed and published based on the agreement between OPPA and the real estate broker (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

Personal data is processed for as long as the cooperation agreement between OPPA and the real estate agent remains in effect.

The personal data of data subjects processed based on point 4.3 and for the stated purpose will be processed for as long as the cooperation agreement between OPPA and the broker remains in effect.

5. Website

On our website www.oppa.lt (hereinafter – the Website), we use cookies. In such cases, we will inform you within 1 (one) month of receiving your request about the extension of the deadline and the reasons for it. OPPA will only refuse to implement your rights in cases specified by law.

  • for the period required to verify the accuracy of your personal data when you raise concerns regarding the accuracy of the data.
  • when the collection, storage, or use of your personal data by us is unlawful, but you decide not to request the deletion of the data.
  • when your personal data is no longer necessary for us, but you need it to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
  • for the period necessary to determine whether we have a legitimate overriding interest to continue processing your personal data if you have exercised your right to object to the processing of your personal data.

(d) You have the right to the transfer of data that is processed by automated means and that we have received from you based on your consent or for the purposes of the contract. If you exercise this right, we will transfer a copy of the data you provided upon your request.

(e) You have the right, in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR, to object to our use of your personal data. You have the right to object when your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (the legal basis for data processing is specified next to each of the data processing purposes listed above).
